Just a little over a week ago I finally ponied up and put down a fat tenner to reserve Skyward Sword. After only a second visit to EB Games I was able to put down the other seventy bucks required to receive a copy of the game on November 20. Eighty dollars is a bit pricey for a new Wii game, but for this bundle it is definitely worth the cash. Aside from the CD and of course the game, I'm excited to get my hands on that awesome gold Wii Remote Plus, partly because my experience with Wii Motion Plus is very limited.
I did get to try it out a bit when playing Wii Sports Resort at a friends, but also when reviewing Wii Play Motion, but that's literally listing everything. I never got the opportunity to play Red Steel 2, or to try it with a few sports titles that support the device, but I was certainly impressed with my tiny tenure. I'm looking forward to dropping foes with Link's sword and whatever else Skyward Sword wants to throw at me Wii Motion Plus wise.
Anyway, that's really all I wanted to say. Before I go, however, I wanted to say that I would be blogging about the game and of course a review will follow my playtime with Skyward Sword. In the meantime I will likely borrow a copy of Kirby's Return to Dream Land to review, so there is some stuff on the way. More Zelda Top 10's as well!
Hint: Star Fox 64 has something in common with the theme of our next Top 10.
