Super Mario 3DS Will Include More Familiar Suits

At E3 2011, Nintendo revealed that the Tanooki Suit would be making a return in Super Mario 3DS. Super Mario 3DS director, Yoshiaki Koizumi, has revealed that other familiar suits will also make a return:

"...I should point out that we don't necessarily decide on what number of famous Mario suits will appear in the game and proceed from there - we try to find interesting gameplay ideas and then try to settle on what to do in different places. But I can say that we will definitely have some more familiar suits than just the Tanooki Suit."

As a Super Mario fan, I immediately return to Super Mario Bros. 3 when thinking of what suits Nintendo may include. I think that I'd be willing to give the Frog Suit another go, but the Hammer Bros. suit may suit the Nintendo 3DS better. Maybe we'll be seeing Kuribo's Shoe again?
