The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition Detailed

Details for the downloadable The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition has also been release by Nintendo this fine morning. It will only be available for a limited time starting on September 28, 2011, and ending February 20, 2012. DSi and DSi XL owners can download the DSiWare version any time starting September 28 and 3DS owners will have to sign into the eShop sometime during that time period.

Four Swords Anniversary Edition allows four players that have downloaded the game to play together (and it's wireless of course), but Nintendo has also enhanced the product by including a new single-player mode. After beating the main quest gamers will unlock new levels to play through greatly expanding the replay value of the title. If you have been following the news from the 3DS conference of last night you will know that these levels include NES and GB stylized levels.

Best of all, gamers won't pay a single dime because the anniversary edition is FREE!
