Rumors were running wild about a circle pad attachment for the Nintendo 3DS. Some of you may already know about the rumor, but some may not due to our no rumors policy. However, the attachment is now confirmed. Famitsu released the first image of the attachment and it is quite bulky. The attachment looks like a cradle of sorts and yes the Nintendo 3DS does fit inside. It will add a second circle pad to the device (and a new trigger button), but it looks like a hassle more than an innovation. I'd wait for the inevitable 3DS re-design.Nintendo has also told ONM that the device is indeed planned for a release, but we have to wait for an official announcement. Gamers are well aware of an upcoming Nintendo conference taking place in Japan on September 13, and an announcement regarding this device is likely.
